Hyzer Pines

Sisters boasts the only 18-hole public disc golf course in Central Oregon, Hyzer Pines.  The course was installed in September, 2006.  This ponderosa forested course is located behind the High School, off HWY 242 (just west of the Elk Reserve). The start of the course is adjacent to the SOAR community center and skate park.  The course features rubber tee pads made from recycled tires, multiple pin positions for each hole, and 18 Innova DISCatcher baskets.  The tee signs and Kiosk signs are made of die-cut powder coated steel.  This recreational course offers a variety of fundamental disc golf shots through densely wooded, relatively flat terrain.  Hyzer Desert Rebels winter/summer leagues are held here as well as the “Shoot Out at Hyzer Pines” in May.
