Open! This is a 9 hole loop course that receives a heavy amount of play. The folks at COCC and the Hyzer Desert Rebels feel that we are fighting a losing battle in the area of users following college regulations in regards to smoking, drinking and dogs on the course. The issue of smoking is obvious since it poses a real risk to college property and potentially to public safety. The use of alcohol is becoming a very big issue with college staff. The college has a strict no alcohol policy which it enforces throughout campus. This is an area where all of us see huge violations in regards to the college policy. We are also seeing an increasing number of dogs on the course. This also is a violation of the college policy. These policies are being strictly enforced and monitored. Beware and be better. |
